About Faith Over Fate LLC
From the Beginning
We take pride in offering a community-based adult day program that puts the wellness of each individual at the forefront of everything we do. At Faith Over Fate LLC., we believe in empowering our clients to reach their full potential and thrive in their own way. We achieve this by providing each client with personalized care and attention, tailored specifically to their unique needs. Our commitment to wellness is reflected in everything we do, from the activities we offer to the support we provide.
Our Programs
The programs focus on increasing individual capabilities in the community. The programs are specially designed to allow individuals to experience activities that promote overall wellness by increasing mobility and sensory skills. The program will also focus on promoting mental and physical stimulation and expanding access and knowledge through participation in intellectually and recreational stimulating programs that promote social and cultural growth within the community.
ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES/ COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION
Daily community activities that include but not limited to, physical fitness, nutrition, politics, self-care, education, employment, health, and safety.
COMMUNICATION
The communication curriculum aids an individual's growth in self-reliantly expressing their wants and needs regardless of listener knowledge.
BASIC EDUCATION/
PRE-VOCATIONAL
Individuals work on a variety of tasks which, when mastered, could lead to greater independence and employment.
THERAPEUTIC SERVICES
Restorative Yoga, Zumba, chair yoga and deep breathing and access to salon services and spa treatments including, but not limited to haircuts, facials and foot and shoulder therapeutic massage.
SELF‐ENCOURAGEMENT
Consumers will be supported in exploring and participating in self‐advocacy activities of their own choosing, such as Current Events group, Developmental Disabilities Council, People First, and civic advisory committees
PERSONAL CARE
& DAILY LIVING
Focus on individuals acquiring and practicing a wide range of self-care, environmental control, and daily living and job skills.
Our Founder
CEO and Founder Michelle Jacobs was born in Richmond, CA. Since a young girl, she has always had a passion for supporting others in any way she can. She believes that despite what the world may think or say, all people are created with unique talents and abilities to change the lives and hearts of others. In 2019, she had a vision to support adults with disabilities after working with adults with autism. In 2023, she founded Faith Over Fate, a day program to support adults with disabilities. This mission is achieved by engaging them with the community and supporting them with skill development to increase their ability to live independently.
